A sloping backyard given three usable levels: an upper deck, a stone patio below it, and lawn beyond.

The deck is built in stained timber with black metal balusters and a full stair run down to grade. At the foot of the stairs a paver patio is edged with natural boulders and borders of ornamental grasses and shrubs, holding the change in level and separating the seating area from the lawn.

Designed and built by Landvision Designs for a home in the Raleigh area. The same team manages every project from the initial concept through construction and the final walkthrough.
